Dolphin Tank

Wharton's Wellness Pitch Competition

Dolphin Tank is a pitch competition organized and hosted by Wharton Wellness that invites students to pitch any wellness idea that they would like to see implemented at Wharton.

These ideas should involve at least 1 of the 8 dimensions of wellness (social, physical, intellectual, financial, emotional, spiritual, environmental, and/or occupational), and should tangibly help improve some part of the Wharton student experience. Winning initiatives receive (among other things) a commitment of support from Wharton Wellness to help bring their idea to life during the subsequent semester.

Previous winners of Dolphin Tank include:

  • Gratitude@Wharton, a web-based system that allows Wharton community members to send each other messages of gratitude, anonymous or otherwise.
  • Wharton Color Run, a 1-mile run/walk around Penn Park culminating in the mutual throwing of colored powder.
  • SpotMate, a program encouraging students to focus on physical wellness by matching the with a gym buddy, or "SpotMate," of equal experience.
