DEI Project Fellowship

Thank you for your interest in applying for the DEI Project Fellowship.

The Wharton Equity Diversity and Inclusion Group (WEDIG) is offering student grants for DEI projects at Penn! The grants will be up to $300, and the funding can be used to support any student-led non-research project to be conducted during Fall 2024. All Penn first-years, second-years, and third-years are eligible to apply. You may apply as an individual or a team of up to 4 students.

We highly encourage creative projects, such as podcasts, arts-based projects, or community service events. Applications are due on April 8th, 2024. The application can be accessed via the link below.

If selected, you will join a small group of peers who are passionate about DEI and improving the student experience at Penn. You will be able to grow together as leaders in the Penn community.

Written Application

04/08/2024: The DEI Project Fellowship's Application is due on this date through our qualtrics form linked above and on our Instagram page.

Round 1: Initial Evaluation

04/26/2024: This initial evaluation will be a first look at your application to ensure it meets the qualifications of the grant before moving onto the final round.

Round 2: Interview

04/29/2024 - 05/03/2024: This interview is for us to get a better gauge on who you are, your understanding of the project and any further explanations of your plans with the grant.

Decision Notification

05/10/2024: At this point, we will notify all recipients of the DEI Project Fellowship. Congratulations!
