Cohort Mentorship Program

The Cohort Mentorship Program pairs each new student with an upper-level student who will help with the transition to Wharton and Penn by answering questions and sharing personal experiences and insight. Although cohort leaders often serve as informal mentors, the mentors in this program are additional upper-level students you can turn to for co-curricular advice and guidance.

Next Steps

You will be automatically enrolled in the Cohort Mentorship Program, but should complete the cohort mentorship form by Friday, August 11, to help us pair you with a mentor. If you would prefer not to participate, you may opt out when you complete the form.

In September, you will be connected with your mentor via email. Once the introduction is made, it will be up to you and your mentor to communicate directly and find times to meet that fit both of your schedules. Supplemental activities will be offered throughout the year to enhance mentor-mentee connections.

Benefits of Having a Mentor: Mentors can: 1. Listen and guide you in navigating life at Penn and Wharton. 2. Connect you to people and resources based on your personal goals. 3. Share experiences you can learn from--both successes and failures. 4. Become a friend to have fun with and a member of your network. 5. Encourage you to try new opportunities and make the most of your first year.
