About Us
Only 13% of Penn founders are women and they receive just 6% of venture capital funding (2019 Pitchbook Report).
We are a group of technologists, aspiring founders and investors, engineers, and designers who are passionate about eliminating the gender discrepancy in the software ecosystem.
The Wharton Undergraduate Founders and Funders Association seeks to create a supportive and inclusive Penn Wharton network that will combine mentorship, educational workshops, speaker events and real world experience that will accelerate the success of women founders, investors, and technology operators.
As a Wharton Council-recognized student organization, WUFFA adheres to the University of Pennsylvania Policy on Equal Opportunity. All Penn undergraduates are welcome to sign up to participate in our general body membership (GBM) events and programs.
