General Body Member
There is no application process to become a GBM, hence there is an 100% acceptance rate. Students who are part of the GBM will have access to different evevents the club organizes such as speaker and social events. Some examples are our soccer match with Wharton Latino and the speaker event we had in partnership with Wharton Retail.
Committee Membership
Determine whether to join as a Committee or General Body Membership depending on your interest in our mission, your other involvements, and the level of commitment you are able to give to the organization. Application Required - Committees are as follows:
1. Internal - Organizes and manages internal social events to strengthen the club community. This includes coordinating member mixers, team-building activities, and other initiatives aimed at fostering a sense of camaraderie within the club.
2. External - Leads efforts to bring guest speakers to the club and create partnerships through collaborations with other organizations. This committee focuses on expanding the club’s network and providing members with opportunities to engage with industry leaders and peers.
3. Social Impact - Plans and executes fundraising events and coordinates ESG related speaker sessions. This committee works to ensure the club contributes to meaningful social causes and promotes sustainability and impact-driven initiatives.
4. Marketing - Prepares monthly newsletters and manages the club's social media platforms to keep members informed and engaged. This committee ensures effective communication of club activities, updates, and opportunities.
5. Corporate Outreach - work closely with the events committee to help raise funds for charities close to the club.
At Wharton Europe, we seek driven, collaborative, and curious students who demonstrate a strong connection and deep interest in Europe. Our club members are passionate about contributing to and thriving in a vibrant community that values diverse perspectives and experiences. Our Leadership team will determine which candidates will move on to the interview round. We will conduct one interview round and notify all prospective applicants of their status along the way.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept all students into our limited Committee positions but there will be another opportunity to apply in the next cycle if you are still interested!
