Guide to the JWS Thesis

A cornerstone of the Joseph Wharton Scholars (JWS) program is the two-semester thesis, an independent research project completed under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Through this process, students develop and execute original, interdisciplinary research that bridges business with the liberal arts and sciences. The thesis experience cultivates critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to produce rigorous, impactful scholarship.
