The Growth Equity Practicum program aims to equip students with real-world experience emulating the work of a professional growth-stage software investor. In the Spring semester, students will be placed in groups, and each group will be paired with a top growth equity fund or high-growth SaaS startup. Members will work on a market mapping project alongside professional investors with weekly deliverables, culminating in a presentation to a panel of investors. Other projects depend on the growth equity fund's current needs and will vary year-to-year, allowing students to gain new experiences, continually build their skills, and expand their networks. In the Fall semester, members form groups and present investment memos, focusing on SaaS trends/metrics, competitive analyses, and investment theses.
