Originally from Romania, Lidia is an SNF Paideia Fellow with interests in criminology, social justice, and intercultural dialogue. She has conducted research on French neocolonialism and its economic impact in Africa, as well as on developing a mentorship program connecting Penn students with high school students in West Philadelphia. She enjoys learning new languages, traveling and painting. Her favorite part of JWS is the thoughtful discussions and strong sense of community.
