Mission Our mission is to educate our 600+ members on the latest technology trends, innovations and disruptions, increase the number and quality of networking and recruiting opportunities with technology companies, and strengthen the Wharton brand in technology and technology-dependent industries.
Membership BenefitsThe Technology Club is a professional club that helps members learn about career options, prepare for job search, and build a community with others who are passionate about technology and wish to develop a career in the field. Whether your interest is bizops at startups, finance with Google, high-tech strategy with McKinsey, corporate strategy with LinkedIn, or product management with Amazon, the Tech Club can help. The Tech Club hosts Tech Tuesdays every week and also offers resume, interview prep, start-up networking, and tech company coffee chats Club Activities: - Organize a Tech Trek to visit leading technology companies in the West Coast and East Coast.- Hold speaker events with leading technology companies.- Work closely with Career Services to increase the quality and number of tech companies recruiting on campus.- Market the Technology Club as a prime recruiting source to top technology firms.- Tighten the bond between recent alumni and the Club.- Promote community activities, such as socials, buddy and mentoring programs for 1st year members.- Provide students with information to facilitate a successful recruiting process by publishing technology recruiting guide, and hosting summer internship panels.
