Mission The Wharton Latino Club is an undergraduate organization established with the purpose of promoting and bringing together the Latino community within the University of Pennsylvania. With the growing importance of Latin America as a player in the global economy, our club serves as a getaway for students to learn more about the region. As so, we aim to provide our members with the tools and resources necessary to succeed in their future professional and educational endeavors, either in the United States or abroad. We also strive to educate the rest of our peers at Penn about the Latino culture, and to inform them of any important events or professional opportunities related to Latin America.
Membership BenefitsThroughout the year, the Wharton Latino Club holds various professional, social, and community service events intended to achieve these purposes. Our annual Career Conference continues to be a successful and effective way to present excellent job opportunities from top firms to the undergraduate community. We also host several networking and interview preparation events with organizations dedicated to our success. Our social events, ranging from salsa parties to preparing typical Latin American pastries, aim to showcase every aspect of the Latino culture to the undergraduate community. Our community service events, ranging from tutoring Spanish in West Philadelphia schools to fundraising for educational programs in Latin America, allow our members to become engaged with the pressing issues and necessities in our community and the region.
