Join Wharton Food Club for a virtual baking lesson with Parc's executive pastry chef and winner of Chopped Sweets, Abigail Dahan. Abby will be teaching us step-by-step how to make grown up versions of our favorite childhood breakfast pastry...strawberry and custard pop tarts! Reconnect with your inner teenager while learning tips from this pastry pro.

Lesson will be held over Zoom, and an ingredient list will be shared in advance. No fancy ingredients or tools needed. Recipe can be made dairy free or gluten free. The lesson is is heavily subsidized, but a $5 ticket is required to secure your spot and will get you the rolling pin that Abby uses.

Bio: Abigail Dahan is a professional pastry chef with over 10 years of experience in the art of fine French pastries. She studied at the famed Gregoire Ferrandi in Paris and gained valuable experience at Gerard Mulot Patisserie. She’s worked in 5 star properties and restaurants such as the Ritz Carlton, the Park Hyatt and Joel Robuchon in Las Vegas. She’s spent the past 7 years developing and creating a stellar pastry program at the highly rated Parc Restaurant in Philadelphia, recognized by Zagat and top food critics.
Abigail appeared on the TV show Sweet Genius. She was a recent winner on The Food Network’s Chopped Sweets, and was First Place winner of the L’art Du Chocolatier competition in Chicago.

Abigail started The Bake School with the goal of creating fun, engaging classes with a recipe and skill level of the clients’ choosing. Sessions are educational, exciting and team building and always delicious.
