Join the Wharton Food Club for a fireside chat with Sarela Herrada, co-founder and co-CEO of SIMPLi, a regenerative organic food company focused on nutrient-dense pantry staples sourced directly from farming communities around the world. SIMPLi products, including quinoa, beans, oils, and grains, are sold at leading retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Erewhon, and other premium grocery partners nationwide. Prior to founding SIMPLi, Sarela was among the first 10 support center full-time employees at CAVA, where she helped scale operations during the company’s early growth. In this conversation, she will share lessons from building and scaling mission-driven food brands, navigating global supply chains, and balancing impact with commercial growth. Attendees will also have the opportunity to grab free samples of SIMPLi products during the event!
