Suzani is located in the heart of Philadelphia's Eastern European suburb and is deemed to be the best Uzbekistan restaurant on the East Coast.

Uzbek cuisine is famous for its rich flavors across the post-Soviet area and beyond. It is a blend of the cooking traditions of Turkic and Persian peoples with a history dating back thousands of years. Although Uzbek food usually contains a lot of meat, everyone can find a dish that they would love.

Uzbekistan's signature dish is plov, a main course typically made with rice, pieces of meat, grated carrots and onions. It is usually cooked in a kazan (or deghi) over an open fire; chickpeas, raisins, barberries, or fruit may be added for variation. Other notable national dishes include shurpa, a soup made of large pieces of fatty meat (usually mutton) and fresh vegetables; lagman, noodle-based soup that may be served as a soup or a main course; manti (also called qasqoni) the uzbek variation of dumplings, stuffed pockets of dough with meat bouillon inside, and various kebabs, usually served as a main course.

Food options include both meat and vegetarian options. (Subject to change) but likely would include a family style mix of:
- Pickled vegetables platter (veg)
- Babaganoush - like hummus (veg)
- Cheburek / Kutabi - traditional dish, meat wrapped in very thin dough (beef)
- Sultan Salad (veal)
- Achiruk - Traditional Uzbek salad of thin sliced tomato, onions and hot pepper (veg)
- Kebab - traditional fried meat (lamb, beef, veal)
- Manti - Giant beef dumplings served with sour cream (beef)
- Uzbek Plov - the most traditional Uzbek entree made from special rice, meat and vegetables (lamb, beef)
- Soups: Kharcho, Lagman, Borstch, Shurpa, Mastava, Okroshka (all meat) Cheese soup (veg)
- Dessert: Baklava - dough with honey and walnut - slightly different from middle eastern bakhlava
