PLEASE NOTE: This is only for those who bought the Xi'an Famous Foods Cookalong ticket and those who wish to purchase its famous noodle meal kits.

Join us on Wednesday, December 8th at 7:30pm when the Wharton Food Club welcomes the founder of beloved NYC restaurant chain Xi'an Famous Foods for a noodle cooking demonstration and fireside chat with CEO Jason Wang.

Food Club will be offering meal kits and a virtual cooking class with Jason to bring one of XFF's most popular dishes - hand-ripped, hot oil seared biang biang noodles - to your kitchen! After the cooking class, he will host a fireside chat and Q&A to share more of his fascinating founder story (see a sneak peak below.)

How tickets work: Buy your tickets here for the fireside chat/cooking demonstration event by itself (one ticket per device, so feel free to bring a friend). After you sign up, we will then send around an order form to separately purchase a Xi'an Famous Foods meal kit, with a significant discount, so that you can cook along with Jason.

To purchase a MEAL KIT, we will email all registered participants to purchase a discounted group order of meal kits separately. Meal kit purchase option will be available for anyone who buys a ticket by Thursday 12/2.

A bit about Xi'an Famous Foods:
- Xi'an Famous Foods began as a 200 square foot basement "hole-in-the-wall" stall in the Golden Shopping Mall in Flushing, N.Y., the de-facto Chinatown of New York City. Chinese immigrant David Wang and his son opened it as the first restaurant to bring the then-lesser-known cuisine of Xi'an (of Shaanxi Province of China) to the United States.
- After attending Washington University in St. Louis and a brief stint in the corporate world, Jason decided to focus on his true passion and began to grow the family food business.
- Today, Xi'an Famous Foods has over ten fast casual restaurants in New York City, a cookbook, and a growing home meal kit service!
