What: Speaker Series: Tucker Twitmyer, Managing Director, EnerTech Capital "What a Strange Trip it Has Been – A Poli Sci Guy’s Journey to Wharton and Entrepreneurship" Tucker has been investing in energy technology and services companies for 13 years with an emphasis on technology enabled efficiency, development, services, and products companies across the electricity, oil, and gas industries. Tucker currently sits on the boards of SpaceTime Insight, OwnEnergy and Tangent Energy Solutions. He previously sat on the boards of Enerwise (acquired), FuelQuest (acquired), Advent Solar (acquired), Franklin Fuel Cells (acquired), Welldog (acquired) and was an observer to Comverge (COMV), Clean Air Power (CAP.L), 6th Dimension (acquired), Sagemaker (acquired) and Altela. He is a board member and former President of Wharton Private Equity Partners, an Investment Partner with InvestMaryland, Chairman of the IMPACT 2012 Cleantech Track, an advisor to the Skolkovo Foundation, a former member of the CleanTech Venture Network Advisory Board, and was recently honored as one of the Power Players in Cleantech and Who’s Who in Energy. Prior to EnerTech, Tucker was a co-founder and Managing Director of Katalyst LLC, a private equity services firm and a Senior Manager at Andersen Consulting, now Accenture. Tucker began his career in finance and IT operations with MultiServ, a provider of material handling and recycling services to the steel industry. For all you aspiring entrepreneurs and investors or those looking to get involved in an exciting year-long competition, APPLY NOW! The Student Management Committee is unique leadership opportunity to be a part of one of the leading global university-run business plan competitions. Meet and mingle with the judges and innovative teams and get a behind-the-scenes look at a renowned business plan competition. Of particular interest to the PEVC club is the Directors of Judge Relations roles, as this involves supporting and networking with you community of judges, including VCs, angel investors, service providers and entrepreneurs.
