- The PEVC Club would like to invite you to the next club-wide social event – whether you’re a semi-pro or more interested in drinking beers while others roll gutter balls, this Wednesday will be a ton of fun at Lucky Strike Bowling. Arrive at 6pm SHARP if you want to ensure you get to bowl. Extra points will be awarded for The Big Lebowski quotes. As always networking and socializing is the aim so there will be plenty of beverages flowing.

- What: Susquehanna Growth Equity Managing Director and Co-Founder Vincenzo La Ruffa will speak about the day-to-day life of a VC and walk through a portfolio company case study.

Speaker Bio
Vincenzo La Ruffa is a Managing Director of Susquehanna Growth Equity and helped form the group in 2006. He focuses on investments in capital markets and payments technology. Vincenzo currently serves on the boards of The Logic Group, MMIT, and ETF Securities (Observer). He previously served on the boards of 29West (acquired by Informatica Corp), Ballista (acquired by IntercontinentalExchange), and Derivix (acquired by FlexTrade). Prior to joining SGE, Vincenzo invested in technology companies in the US and UK with NGP Energy Technology Partners and EnerTech Capital. Vincenzo began his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Deutsche Bank.
Vincenzo graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Classics from the School of Arts and Sciences.

7. Nov 14 – Hong Kong & South Korea Headhunter on Campus
- When: Thursday, November 14 @ 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Colby Yoon, a head hunter focusing on the Hong Kong/Korea region will be on campus to talk about opportunities and have one-on-one meetings with those interested. We are planning to have a 30-minute group session and then a couple individual meetings depending on demand. I have planned a time slot from perhaps 1pm till 4-5pm (need to go to another city) on the 14th and I can meet in a group session and even have a brief one-on-one session with students afterwards.
