Mission
The Wharton Social Impact Club is a student-led organization with a dual mission:

- To educate and raise the awareness of the broader Wharton community on how we, as leaders, can create impact in our communities and organizations.
- Support students recruiting for careers or internships in social impact.

Membership Benefits
As a club, we host a variety of events throughout the school year to promote Social Impact discussion and knowledge on campus.

Educational:
We provide a variety of educational events throughout the school year. For those members who are just getting interested in the Social Impact space, or for those who have first-hand experience but are looking to explore new areas, we offer "101" presentations that give a general overview of a specific aspect of Social Impact (e.g. Social Finance, Social Entrepreneurship, Impact Investing, etc). For those who may have more specific needs or have already decided in which area to focus, we offer relevant information in our weekly newsletters, as well as dedicated events delving deeper into specific topics in social impact.

Career:
The Social Impact Club dedicates a significant amount of resources to our graduate members. We have a dedicated career adviser within Wharton Career Services who works with our club members to find meaningful employment in the Social Impact space. We host panel discussions so that 2nd year students can share their experiences and advice with 1st year students. We run a student mentor program where 1Y students are matched into mentorship "pods" with 2Y mentors. We also host various company information sessions throughout the school year to facilitate networking and recruitment in the Social Impact space.

Social:
As a club, we host a variety of social activities throughout the year to build a sense of community and to expand the reach of Social Impact to the broader student body. Past examples of activities include small group dinners and happy hours, end-of-year banquets, and sponsoring Pub.
