Join the Quant Finance Club’s Education Team on Monday, November 18, 12-1:30pm for the second session of its Quant Finance Bootcamp - Using Python to Tackle Real-World Questions!
This session will guide you through developing a model to make predictions using real-world data, building on the Python coding concepts we introduced in the first session. Even if quant finance isn’t your career goal, you’ll gain valuable forecasting skills for any dataset—whether related to real estate, climate change, or healthcare. And for those focused on quant finance, you’ll get the foundational steps toward creating predictive trading models.
You’ll learn:
- How to systematically approach data science questions (e.g., “Which real estate should I invest in?”)
- How to identify and gather key data sources for analysis
- How to leverage diverse data sources for a comprehensive answer
We’ll also cover any remaining Python concepts from the last session (such as working with data frames). Missed the first session? You can access the video recording here.
Lunch will be provided!
