Michele Miyakawa is the Founding Partner at Moelis and serves as the Managing Director in the Consumer & Retail Group. She specializes in advising high-growth consumer companies on capital raises and strategic alternatives, including mergers and acquisitions. With over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, her career spans multiple banking and management roles at Moelis, including that of COO of Global Advisory. Before her tenure at Moelis, she worked at UBS Investment Bank, focusing on M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and other equity and debt transactions, after an earlier role as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. She holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
