Mission The mission of the Wharton Media & Entertainment (M&E) Club is to facilitate student interest in the Media & Entertainment industry and to help build a community for people with a passion and a curiosity for media and entertainment. Through educational, networking, and social programming, the Club supports students pursuing M&E careers and those who are generally interested in the industry.
Membership BenefitsThe Wharton Media & Entertainment Club is dedicated to increasing students' understandings of areas across the M&E industry; specifically, our club covers topics like digital media, TV, music, sports, gaming, movies, virtual and/or augmented reality, M&A and other current events in the space. Careers: We aim to equip our members for recruiting success. For those with a professional interest in the space, the club offers a variety of career-oriented resources (e.g., young alumni panel, technical recruiting panel, recruiting prep, job first alerts).Industry Knowledge: We aim to boost our members' interest and knowledge of the industry. We host Executive and Leadership Speakers and organize Treks (e.g., NYC, Philly, LA), where students meet top M&E industry players; prior years' trek participants have included Hulu, HBO, Netflix, NBCUniversal, Warner Bros., Disney, and many others. Community: The club strives to help build relationships amongst students, faculty, and alumni with common interests in the media and entertainment industry. Beyond career-related activities, the club hosts Small Group Events and Happy Hours, and organizes Club Swag.
