Please join us for a session with Michael Angelakis, who will provide insight into management and leadership principles he has learned over the course of his career on Tuesday, April 22 from 4:30 to 6 pm. Michael will be interviewed by Negotiations and Influence Professor Cade Massey.
In 2014, 2013, 2012, 2009 and 2008, Mr. Angelakis was named among America's Best CFOs by Institutional Investor magazine. He was instrumental in negotiating both the NBC and Time Warner Cable deals. Since joining Comcast in 2007, the company's stock price has risen from the mid-20s to a high of almost $55 earlier this year.
Invite-only dinner to follow the event. Please submit your resume and a statement of no more than four sentences explaining why you would be a good candidate to have dinner with Mr. Angelakis by Monday, April 21 at 5pm to Brooke at eberm@wharton.upenn.edu. Full Bio:
Michael J. Angelakis serves as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer for Comcast Corporation. Prior to joining Comcast in 2007, Michael served as Managing Director and a member of the Management and Investment Committees of Providence Equity Partners, one of the leading private equity firms investing in communications and media companies around the world. Before joining Providence Equity Partners in 1999, Michael was President and Chief Executive Officer of State Cable TV Corporation and Aurora Telecommunications, LLC. He also served as Vice President at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York, where he oversaw one of the bank's media and communications portfolios. Additionally Michael spent several years in London developing Manufacturers Hanover's acquisition finance and merchant banking activities throughout Western Europe.
Michael is a graduate of Babson College and of the Owner/President Management Program at the Harvard Business School. He is the Deputy Chair for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and serves on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He is also a trustee of Babson College.

3. Special Event with Trevor Prichett, COO of Yards Brewing Company
Join the General Management Club and Family Business Club for a special event featuring 2006 Wharton Graduate Trevor Prichett, the COO of Yards Brewing Company. We will be enjoying a tasting of Yards beer while hearing from Trevor who has a varied background in entrepreneurship, finance, operations and principle investing. Aside from acting as Chief Operating Officer of Yards Brewing Company, he is also a partner in Ethos Holdings LLC, a private investing company that makes venture investments in food, beverage, agriculture, aquaculture, health and wellness.

1. Attend the KIPP Philadelphia Annual Spring Gala! Saturday, April 26.
The GM Club is excited to announce that we are sponsoring GM Club Members who would like to attend the Annual Spring Gala Fundraiser for KIPP Philadelphia Schools on Saturday, April 26. KIPP Schools is a nationwide organization that manages dozens of charter schools around the country and has been transforming the lives of urban youth for decades.
Last year the party was a blast and is a great opportunity to have fun while giving back to a worthy organization. The ticket is worth an open bar (4 hours!) at the event and the evening is emceed by the Philadelphia Eagles GM Howie Roseman!
