Mission
WAIAC is the premier hub for students (with all levels of expertise and backgrounds) keen on exploring the dynamic fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Business Analytics. Our mission consists of four pillars: Learning & Skill-Building, Career, Community, and Innovation.
• Learning & Skill-Building: Facilitate learning of skills and knowledge relevant to the AI/Analytics space through bootcamps, expert-led courses, and info sessions from industry leaders
• Career: Provide insights for pursuing careers in AI/Analytics and cross-functional domains through career panels and networking events, connect members to Wharton Alumni and industry leaders
• Community: Build a vibrant and inclusive AI/Analytics community filled with collaboration and mentorship across members, Penn Engineering, Wharton AI & Analytics Initiative
• Innovation: Host initiatives such as AI Hackathons and Pitch Nights that allow members to apply and sharpen their learnings to create innovative solutions that address real-world challenges
