Wharton Community Consultants (WCC) provides consulting and advisory services to nonprofits in the Philadelphia area. WCC is managed entirely by Wharton MBA students who volunteer their time on behalf of the club. MBA students work in groups of 5 or 6 on a three month consulting assignment, for clients ranging from arts and theatre organizations, youth services groups, senior citizens support, and community finance organizations among others. Projects range in focus from marketing, operations, strategy, and pricing.

Wharton Consulting Club (WCC) is one of the largest professional clubs at The Wharton School. Over the course of the academic year, the club partners with consulting firms and hold a wide range of membership education and community building events for its members. It is through these events that club members are competitively positions with the skills and competencies they need for successful entry into management consulting.

The club's main activities include the following:
- Case Lecture Series – Series throughout Q1 & Q2 led by experienced consultants that provides members exposure to all types of cases and other interview essentials. Each lecture focuses on a different part of the case interview as well as a explores a different type of case. Curriculum is inclusive and cognizant that many Wharton students interested in consulting come from non-traditional backgrounds.

- Case Family Program – Each family is comprised of two sponsored students or experienced consultants to function as case coaches and mentors for approximately eight first year students. Families will have dinner/happy hour/etc to build community among the members and give them an opportunity to ask questions. Standardized curriculum and feedback templates for coaches ensure members receive a consistent experience; in addition, each coach receives training on types of cases, how to deliver cases, and feedback best practices.

- Club Officer Office Hours – All second year WCC officers will host weekly office hours to provide a dedicated time for either casing, training, or recruiting questions in general

- Case Workshops – WCC subsidizes third-party workshops to provide additional skills and perspectives not covered by club content. This includes case and on-the-job preparation.

- Community Building – WCC strives to build community among its members through a variety of subsidized programming including small group dinners, coffee chats, post-recruiting celebration, etc.

We are Penn's graduate school rowing club with members coming from graduate programs across the university and we want you!

Wharton Crew is a great way to meet other graduate students across Penn, get great exercise and compete on a team. We hold practices 7 times/week with different experience levels rowing on different days. There is no requirement as to how often you row. Rowers can sign up as often or as little as they like. We compete in several regattas on the Schuylkill River on historic Boathouse Row. We host our own regatta in the spring, the Wharton Sprints, against rival grad schools like Yale, MIT and Harvard. We also hold a variety of social events throughout the year and have a lot of fun!

If you are an experienced rower please select either the "Fall 2022" or the "2022-2023 Academic Year" option.

Full-time coxswain sign up requires individual review and approval.

Dance Studio is a club for anyone who loves to dance, wants to learn how to dance, or just wants to meet tons of other fun energetic first and second-year students!

Our club is is a co-ed, fun, relaxed dance performance group whose efforts culminate in a show presenting various forms of dance (hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, tango, swing, salsa, belly dance, and much more).

Student choreographers create the pieces and act as instructors for other student dancers. Rehearsals are held weekly in the second semester for a performance in the spring.

Wharton Global Impact Consulting Club (WGICC) is a non-profit, student-run organization that sends MBA student volunteers overseas to work with resource-limited social impact organizations. These projects typically last two to four weeks and involve teams of two to four students each. Mission
The Wharton Social Impact Club is a student-led organization with a dual mission:

- To educate and raise the awareness of the broader Wharton community on how we, as leaders, can create impact in our communities and organizations.
- Support students recruiting for careers or internships in social impact.

Membership Benefits
As a club, we host a variety of events throughout the school year to promote Social Impact discussion and knowledge on campus.

Educational:
We provide a variety of educational events throughout the school year. For those members who are just getting interested in the Social Impact space, or for those who have first-hand experience but are looking to explore new areas, we offer "101" presentations that give a general overview of a specific aspect of Social Impact (e.g. Social Finance, Social Entrepreneurship, Impact Investing, etc). For those who may have more specific needs or have already decided in which area to focus, we offer relevant information in our weekly newsletters, as well as dedicated events delving deeper into specific topics in social impact.

Career:
The Social Impact Club dedicates a significant amount of resources to our graduate members. We have a dedicated career adviser within Wharton Career Services who works with our club members to find meaningful employment in the Social Impact space. We host panel discussions so that 2nd year students can share their experiences and advice with 1st year students. We run a student mentor program where 1Y students are matched into mentorship "pods" with 2Y mentors. We also host various company information sessions throughout the school year to facilitate networking and recruitment in the Social Impact space.

Social:
As a club, we host a variety of social activities throughout the year to build a sense of community and to expand the reach of Social Impact to the broader student body. Past examples of activities include small group dinners and happy hours, end-of-year banquets, and sponsoring Pub.

SEA Club's priority is to create an inclusive environment among club members while promoting Southeast Asian cultures, traditions, as well as professional opportunities to Wharton communities.

Wharton Sustainable Business Club (SBC) engages students interested in the intersection of business and sustainability. The club focuses on connecting students to ideas, innovation, technologies and policies that will drive the future of industry. The club will address sustainability across all business sectors including, but not limited to: Energy Sources & Efficiency, Supply Chains, Agriculture/Food, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Product Design. Our goal is to build a community interested in addressing global environmental issues through business solutions and increase sustainability-related academic and career opportunities at Wharton.

Looking to put on muscle, lose fat, or increase athletic performance? We've got a spot for you. The club is meant for ALL levels, no prior weightlifting experience is necessary. For some members WWC is a workout club, for others it is a chance to learn and develop new skills!

Wharton Women in Investing (WWIN) was founded in 2021 by a group of MBA women passionate about improving gender diversity within the investing industry.

Our mission is to empower women to succeed as investors and adjacents across finance, including private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, mutual fund, investment management, banking, and legal industries. We seek alliance from our male allies to drive this mission forward.

Penn Students Women in Real Estate ("PSWiRE") is a student initiative aimed at increasing the active participation and visibility of female leaders in real estate, encouraging more women and underrepresented people to pursue careers in the real estate industry, connecting students at Penn with real estate professionals and supporting underrepresented persons in the advancement of their careers. This initiative includes members of all four real estate clubs supported by Zell-Lurie: Wharton undergraduates, Wharton MBA's, Penn Law and Penn School of Design.

Wharton Women's Touch Rugby Club is an opportunity for Wharton women to build life long bonds, socialize, play sports and be part of an amazing team. There is a place for everyone - we field competitive teams that placed at the top of every tournament, as well as social "just for fun" teams. It's a great way to get to know the best women at Wharton, get a great workout and have a ton of fun on and off the field. No prior experience is required and the club is open to all Wharton students, partners, faculty and staff. Note: this is NOT tackle rugby.
