Tapping therapy, also known as the Emotional Freedom Technique or Clinical EFT, can be practiced solo or under the guidance of a certified practitioner. During the practice, you identify a stressor, where you feel the stress in your body, and measure the intensity with which you feel it. Continuing to focus on the stressor and sensations, you simultaneously tap on acupressure points on yourself creating a calming effect for your nervous system and fundamentally rewiring your nervous system’s response to the stressor. Using a blend of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology, tapping therapy helps you release stress and tension so you can step into the coming week feeling lighter, clearer, and more vibrant.
