We’re honored to welcome Katja Schnargl, Beverage Director of Koloman, to the Wharton Wine Club for a guided tasting. Katja’s journey began in Austria’s famed Wachau Valley and has taken her from the three Michelin-starred kitchens of Le Bernardin to the Burg Vital Hotel in the Alps.

A certified Austrian Diplom Sommelier (the most critical wine exam in Austria) and Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Katja now leads the celebrated beverage program at Koloman—named Esquire’s Best New Restaurant in America (2022) and recipient of Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence in both 2023 and 2024.
