2/10 Producer Tasting: Primitive Wines

Join us for an evening with Primitive Wine, a Paso Robles project founded by Gary Irvin (GM at Fulldraw and our host for them last year) that leans into instinct, experimentation, and a deep respect for raw materials. This tasting is about energy, texture, and wines that feel alive. 

Primitive focuses on small-lot, low-intervention wines made from thoughtfully farmed Paso Robles fruit. The approach is hands-off but intentional—native fermentations, restrained use of oak, and an emphasis on purity and drinkability. These wines often blur stylistic lines, offering freshness and character that reflect both the region and the winemaker’s curiosity.

The result is a lineup that’s vibrant, expressive, and fun to explore—wines that invite conversation and challenge expectations of what Paso Robles can be.
