Details

Peter Tomozawa is President of Business Operations of the Seattle Sounders FC, a men's professional soccer team in the MLS (Major League Soccer) based in Seattle, WA. As President, Peter assumes oversight of all departments within the Sounders FC business operations including Administration, Legal, Finance, Communications, Broadcast, Community Outreach, Fan Experience, Ticket Sales and Service, Premium Sales, Hospitality and Corporate Partnerships.
Prior to joining the Sounders, Peter was LA2024 Vice President & Executive Director for Partnerships and Board Relations for Los Angeles' successful bid for the 2028 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, In addition to being a minority owner of the Seattle Sounders, Peter is an investor in the Vegas Golden Knights – the National Hockey League's successful franchise that launched in 2017 – Tomozawa also maintains ownership stakes in two soccer clubs in the English Football League Championship: Swansea City and Barnsley. Additionally, Tomozawa previously served as a Partner and Global Head of Foreign Exchange Sales at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 17 years in New York, London and Tokyo, before transitioning into civic affairs for the state of Hawaii. In the latter role, Tomozawa served as Executive Director of Business Development & Advisor to the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu, in addition to working as Vice Chair & Commissioner of Charter Schools for the State of Hawaii Department of Education. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Peter worked in the technology sector starting his work career at IBM. Tomozawa graduated with a BS in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1983 and a MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1993.
Additionally, Tomozawa was a member of the Federal Reserve Bank Foreign Exchange Committee as well as a board member of CLSAS, a foreign exchange trade aggregation service company. To this day, he continues to consult for the International Monetary Fund and has served on several public and private company and community boards. Peter currently serves on the Seattle 2026 World Cup Host CIty Bid Committee, USOPF Technology and Innovation Committee, is a trustee of the USOPF and a trustee of the Nature Conservancy – Hawaii. Peter and his wife, Donna LeDuc, have been married for over 30 years and have five children. They currently reside in Seattle, WA and Honolulu, HI.
