Needless to say, the hospitality industry has faced significant hardships during the ongoing pandemic, particularly in urban markets. Join the Wharton Travel and Hospitality Club for a discussion with Ben Shank, General Manager of the Four Seasons Philadelphia. Ben will share insights on operating a luxury property during a pandemic, his thoughts on demand trends, and the future of hospitality.

As General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center, Ben Shank oversees a bold new stroke of luxury hospitality within the tallest building in the city. Raised in the City of Brotherly Love, he launched his career with a part-time position at the original Four Seasons property in Philadelphia, which welcomed guests to Logan Square for more than 30 years. He went on to earn a degree in hotel and restaurant management from Penn State University before joining the company full time in 2001, and later headed off to rise in management at other Four Seasons across the country.

Ben's career highlights include the opening teams of three restaurants in New York, and as Food and Beverage Director in Maui followed by Resort Manager in Scottsdale, Arizona. His last assignment before Philadelphia was as opening Resort Manager at the company's address at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Zoom link will be shared after registration.
