Wharton T&H Club Presents: State of the Airline Industry with Industry Experts

Join two leaders from Oliver Wyman Management Consulting's Airline Industry for a discussion on the state of the airline industry, including traveler sentiment, business traveler recovery, and forecasts for capacity and demand moving forward. We'll also discuss the impact of the expiration of the CARES Act and the financial health of US and Global airlines. Zoom link will be provided upon registration.

This event will feature Grant Alport and Sunny Xi from OW's Aviation Practice. Grant is a Principal in Oliver Wyman's Transportation & Services Practice specializing in aviation and has lead strategic analyses and project execution for airlines, airports, and aerospace companies across both revenue and operational spaces. He has led engagements for clients in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Europe. Sunny is an Engagement Manager in the Aviation practice, and has led a number of engagements for leading airlines and related clients in the U.S. They led OW's efforts in late April and early May of this year to launch a survey of travelers across nine countries (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, China, and Australia) to capture how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting attitudes and opinions on travel. This was the first of three planned surveys that will chart how travelers' views change as the pandemic — and responses to it — evolve.
