Club Description


The Wharton Squash Club's purpose is to provide opportunities for its members to enjoy the game of squash and bond in a team atmosphere on and off the court.  Through its weekly practice sessions and tournaments, the club will enable its players of all levels to take their game to the next level.  There will also be social events to accompany this year-round sport.

Club Mission


To promote the squash community at Wharton and help members improve their skills and fitness so they leave business school knowing a new sport they can play anywhere in the world and throughout the year.

 

Club Activities


Member activities through the year will include:

  • Squash overview and practice sessions for beginners
  • Weekly group lessons and drills
  • Opportunity to watch the world's top pros at the U.S. Open in Philadelphia
  • Tournaments with local clubs
  • Leadership opportunities for first year members who show passion for the sport and commitment to the club
  • Watching Penn Varsity matches
  • Swag!  Wharton Squash Club branded shirts, hats, etc.
  • Social events
 

 Additional information: 

  • Players must use shoes with non-marking soles (i.e. no black soles) on the courts!
  • Players must supply their own racquets, eye protection, and balls. The club offers highly discounted gear for members to purchase.
