We will allow you to sign up on campus groups using the link below (must be accessed with Wharton credentials) for 2 SGT spot. The window to sign up for your third SGT will open later in the day at 7:00 p.m. The opportunity to sign up will remain open until all slots are filled.
We will communicate with everyone in case we allow you to register for more than 3 SGTs or add a few more SGTs later in the semester.
Some FAQs:
Q: Why can I only sign up for 3 spots in the semester? There are so many good tastings I want to go to!
A: We agree - it's heartbreaking. But we want everyone to get a chance to experience great whiskey with a range of great people. If there are open spots when we open up additional sign-ups, you're welcome to sign up for more!
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The cost per tasting ranges from $15-$25 via campus groups (non-refundable). This will be supplemented with club funds with a subsidy per attendee.
Q: What do I do if my plans change before the tasting?
A: If you can no longer attend, we recommend checking with other members via WhatsApp to find someone to take your spot. Please let your host know the new taster's name.
Q: Can I bring guests or get a +1?
A: Sorry, but you can't. The whiskey is bought and paid for partially by the club, so it wouldn't be fair to everyone else in the club to subsidize your +1's drinking.
Q: Can I get a preview of the event themes/dates?
A: OF COURSE! We are excited to present our lineup for Spring '24

For those who don't know: We're going to finish most of the bottles in my current collection before I depart good ol' Wharton this spring. Several bottles that I already have plus a couple new ones that I will potentially purchase. If you're in the dark about my habits, I like single malts steeped in smoke, peat, brine, and lots of character. by Ishaan Bhattacharya (04/18, 8:00 PM)"
Let us know of other questions, and we're excited about the fantastic semester ahead!
