Medha Raj is the Chief of Staff of Biden for President (BFP)'s Digital team, helping manage the campaign's grassroots fundraising and digital communications work. In this role, Medha helps think through how to maximize the impact of BFP's digital outputs. Raj plays an instrumental role in this year's election campaign, largely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to joining the Biden team, Medha served as the deputy director for online fundraising on Mayor Pete's presidential campaign. Her political experience includes work at Flippable, Higher Ground Labs, and Gavin for Governor (Gavin Newsom's 2018 California gubernatorial campaign), among other roles. Before her foray into politics, Medha worked as a public and social sector consultant at Deloitte, working with nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies to develop, implement, and scale program strategy. She received her BS in international development and international politics with a concentration in foreign policy from Georgetown University, and her MBA from Stanford GSB.
