For those of us that will be in Breckenridge for US Ski on 2/6, join WOC for a day in the backcountry learning the basics of touring gear (skis, splitboards, skins, bindings) and avalanche safety (risk awareness, terrain recognition, hazard management). And hopefully gets some sweet fresh lines in as well!

Beginner backcountry riders welcome. However comfort with steep + variable ungroomed downhill terrain is required.

Location: Breckenridge, CO
Dates: 2/6, 8 hours ( + 2 hour Zoom session on 1/29)
Cost: ~$240 (includes guide fees, use of beacon / shovel / probe, transport from Silverthorne meet-up to trailhead, insurance)

Potential additional costs would include AT skis / splitboard / boots / skins rentals, guide tips, transport to meet-up point.
