WOC: Backpacking Trip on the Loyalsock Loop

Join outdoors club for an incredible weekend backpacking the Loyalsock Loop, PA.

Think waterfalls, wild forest, glowing creeks, and crisp mountain air — all wrapped in that golden late-fall magic. The Loyalsock–Link Loop is one of Pennsylvania’s top backpacking circuits, blending deep woods, canyon overlooks, and the famous Haystacks rock ledges on Loyalsock Creek.

It’s the perfect November trip: sheltered forest (no ridge wind!), flowing water everywhere, and full-on backcountry camping allowed on State Forest land.

When: Nov 14 - 16th
Cost: $120 pp (subject to slight increase, but likely decrease & will include all food and permits!)
Hiking Intensity: Day 1 (7-9 miles), Day 2 (8-10 miles), Day 3 (6-8 miles)
Where will you sleep?: A tent (BYOT, but we can do some group rentals if you don't have one)
