The Wharton '80s Party, brought to you by M&E Club, taking place on Thursday, September 28th, 10pm at Voyeur (1221 St. James Street)

$35 for all Wharton students, $25 for M&E Club Members. Guests provided with open bar, neon sunglasses, and flashing bracelets to help make your outfit like totally legit. Live performance and new song release by Clyde Kelly and DJing by Tristan Clément.

Get ready for a night complete with NEON, 80's jams, NEON, Wharton's finest DJs, NEON, spandex, NEON, headbands, NEON, fanny packs, NEON, jump suits, NEON, and a performance by Wharton's own star musician (and M&E Club's coolest social chair) Clyde Kelly who is releasing his new single at midnight. Sure, the 1980s had the whole Cold War situation going on but that didn't stop the decade from being LIT...the 80's were a time when stars proudly wore neon spandex, jumpsuits, headbands, and fanny packs on television...when the S&P 500 increased by 400%....when Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher led the free world to victory...when Amitabh Bhachchan took over Bollywood...when Nintendo first came out with Mario Brothers...when MTV launched, and Michael Jackson, Madonna, and U2 rose to fame...when Nelson Mandela's slow march to end apartheid achieved success...when Hollywood saw the release of Indiana Jones, Top Gun, and Back to the Future...when Michael Jordan first played in the NBA....the 1980s set the stage for the rapid cultural and social advances that we all benefit from today.
