Jessie Spellman is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Implementation Expert Consultant at Bain & Company. She is a highly skilled DEI operator, strategist, and implementation expert with subject matter expertise in antiracism and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her DEI experience spans 10 years across both public and corporate sectors. At Bain, Jessie implemented a DEI roadmap and strategic framework for Bain's global DEI strategy, spearheaded "Inclusion Toolkits," developed content for 5,000+ Bain employees to learn and reflect on racism, and organized and facilitated numerous DEI workshops. Jessie received her undergraduate degree in Urban Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and she received her MBA from Wharton in 2018. At Wharton, Jessie was the Co-President of Return on Equality, Wharton's professional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion organization.
Nzinga "Zing" Shaw is the Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer at Marsh & McLennan, the world's leading professional services firm in the areas of risk, strategy, and people. Zing provides strategic guidance across the enterprise to promote inclusive practices in every facet of the collective business. She has developed a strategy to embed equity in all programmatic activities, governance, and daily administration of the organization. She is focused on building a foundation that will advance this strategy as a core component of MMC's brand and to drive the business across every global market. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan, Zing has been at the forefront of leading organizational change through diversity. She was the first person to hold the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer positions at Starbucks Coffee Company and the National Basketball Association. She also served as Senior Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion at Edelman, the world's largest and most profitable public relations and integrated marketing agency. Throughout her career, Zing has worked as a human capital strategist across a multitude of industries including publishing, sports entertainment, public relations, retail, and professional services.
Michelle Gadsden-Williams is the Managing Director and Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager guiding individuals, financial professionals, and institutions in building better financial futures. Michelle is a seasoned HR executive with a demonstrated history and proven track record of success working for mid-sized to extremely large multinational organizations and a diverse set of industries including consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, financial, and professional services. She is extremely proficient in diversity, inclusion and belonging, talent acquisition, people analytics and insights, talent management, organizational development, and compensation analysis. Michelle holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Marketing from Kean University and a Master's Degree focused on Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
