The Wharton Investment Management Club is beyond excited to host a special fireside chat with Mohamed El-Erian, former CEO & CIO at PIMCO. The event will run from 5:15–6:30 PM, with open Q&A with the audience.

El-Erian is an Egyptian-American economist and businessman. He was President of Queens' College, Cambridge, and chief economic adviser at Allianz, the corporate parent of PIMCO where he was CEO and co-chief investment officer (2007–14). He was chair of President Obama's Global Development Council (2012–17),and is a columnist for Bloomberg View, and a contributing editor to the Financial Times.

This conversation will explore how elite macro investors navigate a global environment with rising geopolitical tension, including challenges to Fed independence and increased adoption of industrial policies.
