As malted barley is heated to dry it out and stop the germination process, peat is burned to infuse the grain with smoke and flavour it.

So, GO Peat or NO Peat?

Come to my place on Sat, Nov 8th to swirl, sniff, sip, savor for yourself! I will travel far and wide to handpick the most special (and economic) scotches ranging from no/low peat to heavy — the more who joins, the more unique and unexpected varieties.
