EUROPA – The Wharton European Student Association

Club for Europeans and Wharton students with an interest in Europe
• The Club’s mission is to provide a community for those with European cultural and professional interests on campus
• Link between European employers and Wharton students; and ties to Wharton European Alumni
• Promotes European culture and careers within Wharton community
• Supports Wharton European Marketing and Admissions

Membership of c. 200 Wharton students from 35 countries and >1,000 alumni
• Professional backgrounds and interests in general management, finance, consulting, non-profit, entrepreneurship and
government

One of the largest, most visible and most active student communities on campus
• Hosts several Wharton-wide balls and parties every year
• Engaged in EMEA-specific careers coaching and Wharton admissions events
• Organisation of conferences and retreats (2012 Spanish MBA Conference, 2012 European MBA retreat)
• Regular smaller group events, such as trips, regular club-only brunches, dinners, affinity cocktail parties etc
• European resume book, 1st/2nd year mentorship
