Paul has adapted the year-long curriculum he teaches to restaurant and hospitality industry leaders just for Wharton Cocktail Club and its community. The classes will be comprised of a lecture component (cocktail history, key knowledge, and mixology principles) as well as tastings of specialty cocktail ingredients and live instruction and mixing of craft cocktails. In addition to the lifelong dividends of an education in mixology, attendees will get to sample and savor multiple cocktails that would cost far more at a bar than the price of their tickets.
Class No. 6 will be an introduction to fortified wine and wine-based cocktails. To get to know the spirit, we'll taste a few different fortified wines, including Cocchi Torino, Dolin Dry, Tempus Fugit Quinquina, Fino Sherry, Oloroso Sherry, Sercial Madeira. We'll also mix, drink, and discuss a few wine-based cocktails, including the Adonis, among others.
