Pocono's Whitewater Rafting!

Join the Mountaineering and Climbing club Saturday Oct 10 for a day of Whitewater Rafting in the Poconos! On Oct 10 there will be a mega dam release, which means the most exciting rafting of the year.

The trip will be fully guided by Pocono Whitewater so no previous experience is necessary.

What – Whitewater Rafting – Dam Release – 12 miles, Class III rapids, 5hrs
When - Saturday Oct 10, 2015 - Depart Philly at 7:30am, Return 6pm
Where – Pocono Whitewater, Jim Thorpe PA
Cost - $50 (cost would be $100, but club is subsiding $50 per participant!)
Transportation – Let us know if you are willing to drive. If you bring your own car and passengers we'll reimburse gas and you raft for free! If you rent a car, we'll reimburse rental cost and gas. Google doc will be distributed to coordinate rides close to date.
Signup – Signup opens Sept 30 at 5pm and closes Oct 4 at 11:55pm. Maximum 10 participants.
