Mission The Black MBA Association was formed in 1973, and was subsequently changed to the African American MBA Association (AAMBAA) in 1986. The organization was formed to augment the professional, academic, and social development of students of African descent at The Wharton School. The mission of AAMBAA is to support the continued achievement of students of African descent and to provide extensive resources to foster the successful progression from prospective students to Wharton alumni.
